I think these were built in the 80's but everything is nicely updated like the countertops and paint and floors. It doesn't look old or anything. And it's a lot cheaper that some places down the street that aren't even as nice. There are a lot of nice big trees here. And they have nice paint colors available or you can pick your own.
Everyone is so friendly, all the management and maintenance people are the nicest, and the tenants are too. We never had a problem with noise. It's always easy to get in your apartment as far as the parking and set-up.
As far as he said about stray cats, I've seen a few cats (and dogs) but they're owned by the people here. The parking lot is good compared to other places I've lived.

What a hack. If these are the 80's then let's settle on 1980, OK? The trees are mostly dead and I don't know what they're talking about as far as paint. No one there is anything more than indifferent as far as I knew and the management may be nice, but they're clueless as heck (see my review where they took my TV as compensation a week after I paid my rent). Noise, I didn't have a problem with unless someone revved their engine or blasted their music as they drove by. Parking was fine for me and please, if those cats were owned by tenants then they were the worst pet owners in history. Too many times I'd be trying to fall asleep only to hear a cat incessantly meowing and only to see it's nothing but skin and bones. As the previous user said; this place is a crap-hole, if you're going to pay that much for rent you can find a lot of places nicer than this. One of the most foolish mistakes I ever made was moving here, but hey, at least I'm a more educated apartment renter now.

I am glad to see that somebody agrees with me. I have actually found that most of the residents here are NOT happy with Canyon Oaks Apartments. This property is awful!!!!! I just love how they cleaned up the area around the office but screwed the rest of the property. Has anyone seen the live electrical wires sticking out all over the place? What happens when a kid touches those and electrocutes themselves?
