i lived there for about a year. i never had any problems with the maintenance staff or the management. they were always courteous when i needed assistance with anything. the people living there is a different story. sure the complex is right across the street from $.25Million homes, but that doesnt mean the same class of people reside in these apartments. you're sure to be okay if you dont make eye contact with many people, esp at night when they're drunk sitting on the steps near doorways. when i lived there, they were redoing most of the complex's visual aspects... paint, landscaping, etc. so that made it somewhat attractive. its a very small complex too. shaped like the letter "I" basically. the pool would be nice if it wasnt emptied and filled with dirt and grass grown on top. it would prob be a nice place to stay for only 6 months, until you find something else better. the rent is priced very low as well.

You are so right!!! I lived there for a little over a year the staff was really courteous...however the people that lived there were kinda ghetto! I always thought of my apartment as really spacious and nice ...one day i started hearing these loud noises in the walls, I was terrified thinking that is was rodents. I talked to the neighbors and they were very unconcerned and said they always knew there were rats there......I was terrified and moved out within the bext 3 days. The neighbors did not seem to mind that they lived with rodents. I was always in the dark but as soon as light was shed I was outta there! So long Castle Hills!
