Very nice

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005

I lived in Summit Turtle Rock (next door to Cenizo Flats) for two years and I recently moved back after a year in Iraq. I really liked my time at Turtle Rock, but Cenizo has a Garden Tub and a much larger kitchen and huge closets. It was only slightly more than Turtle rock and they apartments were built in 2000 so they are still quite new. My boyfriend is a chef and he tends to steam up the kitchen quite often. The fire alarm is not nearly as sensitive as at Turtle Rock where I could bearly boil water and it would go off. There is a nice built in bookshelf in the wall that is great and looks classy. The bed room has plenty of space and the separate dinning area is really nice. The 3 glass doors that take up the wall by the balcony are really great for letting light in. A couple fo draw backs are that you can only use SBC Digital Satalite at this complex because of a contract from the previous mangers. I liked Time Warner better, but it works fine. I don't get very good cell phone reception in the apartment. I really like that you can use the amenities of both Cenizo and Turlte Rock. The Villas at Oakwell Farms management has take over both conecting complexes and are combining them. This is really nice because I can have the amenities of Turtle Rock and the nice living area of Cenizo. Turtle rock has a Sand Volleyball court, tennis court, gas grills, basketball court, sauna, large jacuzzi, fitness room and business center. And there are TWO pools that I can go to. The area here has a nice running area with a lot of military people that I see running in the morning which makes me feel safe. There is a big area of homes that are across the street and I can run anywhere from 1 mile to 10 miles and I really enjoy the scenery. The Catholic church Pius IX is across the street and i can walk there easily. Parking is ok, but complex only has 150 apartments and it is in a big circle with really nice walkways, so even if youare parking on the other side of the place, you aren't walking far. I have always been able to get a parking spot close to my apartment. There is covered parking available, but i haven't seen the need for it yet. I am very happy here.
