Maintenance sucks

We moved in in July and our A.C. broke three times and they didn't come fix it until the next day 2 of the 3 times. This meant sleeping in hot weather and they didn't seem to care. Whenever they did work on the A.C. they never bothered to notify us of how it was going or how much longer it would take. No offers to pay for a hotel for the night or anything nice like that.

My faucet in my shower was leaking, they fixed it and then it leaked again. This time it took a week to fix. No explination as to why either.

Office management seems very nice and sincere, but I could hear maintenance talking to them one time while I was on the phone. I was trying to find out when our a.c. would finally be fixed and his tone in the background was like he was irritated at me for asking for such a thing. It was like he thought I should chill out but that's hard to do when you're sweating.

The apartment itself is pretty nice I have to admit. But it comes at a pretty penny.
Needless to say, we won't be resigning a lease.

do you think maintenence staff are slaves? bet you told them on a friday @ 5pm try getting ANY employee to come back to work after 9 hrs and a 40 hr workweek for $13/hr

I have to agree with you. Their maintenance staff is cut rate. Even if you call them at 9am Monday morning, they'll respond way later. . . And what's up with the answering service always picking up? No one is ever in the office. They're usually out smoking instead of working.

I don't get why stupidtrenter9 is upset must be an employee slave is no longer a word you use, we are just requesting for them to preform thioer job duties just like everyone else has to

No they are not slaves. But when they take the job they agree to be on call for emergencies and most apartment complexes consider broken a.c.'s an emergency when its the summer in Texas.
