Chapel Ridge

My best friend was raped at my apt last weekend From: missholliday Date posted: 9/20/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   I live in Chapel Ridge- until tomorrow! I moved in June 1st, I filled out my move-in/walk-through form which included things they were liable to fix. My washer overflowed and my walls molded for atleast 3 months before getting fixed;my front porch light was finally fixed 2 weeks ago; I didn't get a screen for my front window until after someone broke into my apt last weekend and raped and stabbed my best friend on my couch while I slept in the next room. He threatened to kill both of us, and then stole our cash from our purses, my gold neckalace, a diamond ring and 2 disposable cameras. I went to the office the next day and told them I was cancelling my lease. They agreed, however the only flyer they generated stated that there was an "attempted sexual assault" on someone in the community. --------! She WAS raped and notice they mentioned NOTHING about her being stabbed or our stuff being stolen, or even the fact that we did not let him in!!!!! It did happen and I have blood all over my apt. to prove it!! Also, I recently found out there is a registered sex offender living in the apt adjacent to mine. They informed me upon moving in that they did not allow convicted felons to live here. If you don't believe me search the Department of Public Safety's website. The address here is 7207 Snowden, San Antonio, 78240 Oh, and it is section 8 housing. (This means low income) so- while we pay about 600-800$ monthly, your neighbor might be paying next to nothing... maybe even getting welfare! I read another's review and I have to agree. The landscapers that come are creepy.. they drive by (over and over again) and just stare at me. Also, my electricity bill for a 1bd/1 bath was 230 in July and 160 in Aug.!!!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
