We moved into hell after our third roommate split on us to get married. They offered cheap move in and even cheaper rent if we signed a 14 month lease. So we did. BAD MOVE
Our Plumbing never worked right, the dryer wouldn't work, you had to call all the time to get work orders finished, my car was broken into three times, people would leave trash outside of their door, office staff was rude to put in nice, the apt. was a sauna in the summer and a meat locker in the winter, CPS bill was almost as much as my car payment. the dead bolt on the front door didn't fit into the lock because the door was crooked, drug deals in the parking lot, abandoned cars in the parking lots, you would see the carpet truck pumping water out of a flooded apt on a monthly basis, and to top it all off when that "MAGICAL DAY" came when I got to give notice that I would not be renewing my lease, someone who shall remain nameless tried to talk me into staying and then got pissed and very short with me when I told her "I just want the f*ck out of this place"
As I was signing my paper work, she had five very unhappy people in her office asking when the water would be turned back on because it had been off for two days. Don t do it. You would be better off getting a giant box that a refrigerator comes in and living in that under I-10.

Obviously you went into this knowing things weren't going to be up to your standards so why didn't you go elsewhere?
