Do NOT Rent Here!

Chase Hill Apartments may seem like a good place for students attending UTSA that are looking for a place with there budget in mind, however, I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE.
The management used to be very rude and unhelpful and only cared about receiving there rent on time but as of 2009, the management has changed and is a little bit better then the one before it.
What I disliked about these apartments were the fact that it is very, very old and unkempt. When I first moved in, the carpets were stained and the bathtub was grimey and had several cockroaches crawling around. When I told management about this they told me quite rudely to deal with it and suggested that I clean it up myself or hire someone to do it for me. The appliances in the units are very old and some do not even work properly and breakdown often which is a hassle for students who have other things to deal with.
My suggestion to students and parents is to look elsewhere and to also avoid Las Colinas Apartments which are nothing but cheap slums and are even worse when comapred to Chase Hill. Even if it costs you more, live elsewhere because Chase Hill is a complete nightmare!
NOTE: The management also makes you pay for repainting the unit as well as steam cleaning your apartment at your own cost otherwise they take it from your deposit. I have lived in apartments for 14 years and NO apartments Iv'e lived in required you to do what Chase Hill does, not to mention my unit was already reapinted and me and my roomate kept it cleaner then it was and yet we were not given our deposit back so be forewarned!
