Horrible place to live

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
First off the apartment complex is now called Churchill Park Apartments.
Where to begin... We moved in around Aug 1st 2003 and there were already numerous things wrong with the one b/r apartment. There was no screen door on the sliding glass door to the outside, both the kitchen and the bathroom sink pipes leaked, the bathroom fan did (and still does not work, yet mat. has been called several times), the dishwasher was rotting on the inside (the paint on the inside was flapping up to reveal rust), all of the appliances are extremely old, and there were several outlets hanging out of the wall. Now those are the little problems. Here are the main problems. The A/C would have a constant drip whenever it was on (keep in mind it was about 105 degrees everyday)and not only would it drip but it wasnt working that well in the first place. Approx. 10 phone calls where placed total before the A/C was finally fixed in late October and that was because we found out the heater did not work at all. Needless to say there is water damage from the drip, and when the new A/C was put in the employee put a hole in the wall. The second major problem with this apartment is the water. It has dirt in it. If you put water into a white container you can see a layer of sediment form on the bottom. When I complained about the situation I was told San Antonio water is always dirty and what did I expect them to do about it. To top it off the water bill is $40/month for 2 people in a 605 sq ft apartment. The people in the leasing office are often rude and not helpful.I stongly urge anyone considering leasing with this property to reconsider.
