when we moved in 2 months ago we were told to give a list of the problems. we did and here we are going on three months and none of them have been fixed. we have a water leak in the bathroom and we have a bucket where the leak is and we cant leave our apt for long periods of time because when we return it will be flooded. we have talked to management about the issue five or six times and they keep saying it is on a work order. i have talked to maintainence in person and the guy told me flat out he doesn't do work orders. The Management has tried to over bill on rent twice and claimed we were late and i had to go twice and show my receipt showing them that i had paid on time...something they should keep records of themselves.

I totaly Agree, I moved out due to crime home envasion My car was totaled in the parking lot. My move in list was huge for work to be done. Never painted or cleaned after former tennants moved out. Nails aswell as nail holes everywhere, They didnt attend to anything on the list in almost two years. The downstairs apartment was gutted by fire. the tennant was BBQing on the patio (illegal by the way) it tipped broke the glass door. and cought the entire apartment on fire. I was in my apt upstairs no one came to tell me the building was on fire intil I noticed my apt was filling with smoke. As well as filthy words spray painted on my door. The news did a story on the situation. Contact Katrina Willians she did the story. I was released from my lease moved out. I discussed moving out with management they were fine as long as I would forfit the return of my deposit, I was fine with that. They reported me to the credit union. They claim I had trashed the apartment and moved out berfore the lease was up. They are now sueing me for the dammage from the downstairs fire aswell as the dammage done by the former temmant. I have been turned down for apartments because of them and there sad record keeping. I do have the proof and photos and the list of problems when I moved in. They donot care. Having all things in writing and the londlords signature is useless in the state of Texas. I had two friends help me clean so I know When I left the apartment I left it in better shape than when I moved in.
