Claremore Apartments

A Total Disappointment From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/21/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   I have lived in Claremore for over a year and cannot wait to move out in a few weeks. I have never had such a horrible experience with apartment mgmt as I have had here. It's really a shame, too, because the apartments themselves are beautiful. On 3 different occasions, they lost packages. Each time, they were able to show where a staff member had signed for them, but could not produce an actual package. They were also very unapologetic and advised me to just ask the companies to re-ship the products I had ordered, which led to even more hassles in dealing with the vendors. The majority of times I had maintenance issues, I had to repeatedly put in work orders before someone will come to fix it. When someone finally does come out, often times it is not fixed correctly the first time. On one occasion, the faucet was dripping in my bath tub. It took 4 trips over a period of 6 weeks before the problem was correctly resolved. One of the times they tried to fix it, I was out of town and they left my door unlocked! The grounds are beautiful for the most part, but often times are littered with trash or pet droppings. The dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing, so you have to stack trash up on the outside. The community designates certain days for curbside trash pickup, but people consistently place their trash bags out the night before. Animals get in to the bags and the trash goes everywhere. Mgmt has put out a few notices warning people only to put bags out in the mornings and to pick up after pets or they will enforce large fines, but don't follow through with any of their threats. I have also had horrible problems with noise from neighbors. Some of the residents are very friendly and have been a joy to live with. Others have no respect for the people living around them. One couple in my bldg. is constantly screaming at each other and slamming doors at wee hours in the morning. Another guy likes to rev his Harley long after most people have gone to bed. The list goes on... Like I said before, the apartments are nice to look at and at times are even nice to live in. Unfortunately, though, the bad far exceeds the good. These apartments are way overpriced for the negligence and lack of respect you get from management and fellow tenants.
