I've never felt at home here! From: kenyaybrown@yahoo.com Date posted: 7/10/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I moved in Nov.2007 with the Old Property Management company. My unit wasn't clean, the carpet was filthy, there were holes on every wall, mold in several places, every wall was a different color. I refused to move in until the unit was clean. Daily I came by to check on the progress of the unit. Every day I came back to the same unit in the same conditions. Then two weeks later I came in to find the management company had changed Lincoln Property management. By this point my unit had been broken into they stole the Frig. so I had to wait a week more to move into the unit while they did a rush job, I finally moved in. Since then I have come to find that this property has declared Bankruptcy! So they have no vendors every work order is being completed by maintenance, which some issues need to be done by a professional. Example: my unit was broken into for the second time in Feb.2008 they sent the maintenance staff to fix the window 5 days later they did a horrible job! My unit is infested with silver fish! They are on the counter tops,in my bed, in the cabinets, every where I kill at least 10 a day. I have asked for my unit to to sprayed but the issue is larger than spray this unit needs to get the tent over it and fix the issue. I parked my car in the garage only to have my car infested with mice! The unit is equipped with an alarm system but it doesn't work. I have been asking since Nov. who monitors the system only be told Network Multifamily. After contacting them they say they don't. The staff is completely useless! They never handle any issues. They always say the manager is not in and I'll have to get info from her, only to never be contacted back. The gate around the property is missing sections and I've learned it hasn't functioned in over a year! The gym is a complete joke every machine is broken and has never worked since I've been here. Parking is horrible. The business center doesn't function either there aren't any computers in there, no fax machine nothing a chair and an empty desk. Half the mail boxes don't even have doors, the mailman leaves the mail in an open box so anyone can go through it! I have written a letter to the regional Management of Lincoln Property management asking to let me out of my lease. Living here has been a nightmare. I have yet to receive a response.
