I have lived here for almost a year, and I will be the first to tell you that the only way this apartment can get better is if the apartment complex was to go into foreclose, then it was torn down and Roosevelt High School turned it into a parking lot. I should have known that this was a bad apartment complex from the strange lease terms and the extreme penalties for breaking it. After complaining three times about maintenance issues I got the e-mail of someone who was supposed to work for Shelter Corporation who owns this apartment complex. Guess what' They never replied back. The assistant manager lies about EVERYTHING! I have not spoken to her once where she hasn't lied to my face. I am just so sick of this apartment complex and I am tired of being embarrased to have anyone come over and I cannot wait for the lease to be up. A warning to apartment complex, one day the residents are going to finally get fed up wih your crap and file a class action lawsuit. Some advice to possible tenents, no matter how bad your situation may be, it would be better if you lived with yolur parents than moved in here.
