Beware of Management From: HispanicResident Date posted: 1/1/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   My husband & I lived at Colonnade from 2003-2004 & the original management was great. Beware of the new management especially when trying to get back your security deposit. We walked through with the manager for our clearing & he stated he never saw a cleaner apartment upon clearing; however it took us nearly 6 months to get PART of our security deposit back. My husband feels they thought they were talking to some ignorant Hispanic person based on his name as they tried to claim they had to balance their books before a check could be issued (we're both accountants--what kind of B.S. is that!!!!''). We were highly insulted. While living there we found it to be "okay" but you could always hear your neighbors--thin walls. We were charged for a view which was completely obstructed by trees--perhaps that WAS the view'! Apartment wasn't bad but the new management is BAD NEWS! Don't come in late else NO PARKING SPOTS! Drains clogged continuously--invest in DRANO! Gate often broken--one early morning I thought I was going to be mugged ON THE GROUNDS--someone was stalking me!
