In regardes to the colonnade apartments things have change dramatically in the past few months, the security here is lacking greatly, of the three drive through gates only one is closed (the exit gate)while the main two are always open. The walk through gate has never worked. I've seen teenagers drinking in the lots and Im pretty sure they do not live here and other people lurking around cars late at night. I never leave my apartment alone after 9:00 pm. I must say the maintanance man is very nice and great, I feel bad for him because Im sure he needs more help. I have also noticed that the newer people moving in are not the quiet classy people that were here a year ago. I think they got so desparate to fill the apartments that they either lowered the rent dramatically or there screaning process has been thrown out the window. The management company only cares about getting the leases signed and once you have signed it you are pretty much useless to them. loittering late at night in the parking lot has also increased. A sence of security is very very lacking. I have spoken with many tennants here and they all feel the same as I do. When I moved here I thought I was moving into an upscale apartment complex but now it is a slum, Although I am paying an upscale monthly payment.
