We actually saw some of these bad reviews before moving in, and figured, "only the small percentage of people who had a bad experience go on these sites and write these reviews." No! This represents a MAJORITY of people who have lived there, I assure you. My husband and I have never lived in a more poorly run apartment complex. We were moving down to San Antonio from Dallas, so we had to get moved in the weekend we came to move in (we had no place else to go). We got there, opened the door to begin moving in, and the carpets were DISGUSTING, the walls were all cracked and had not been painted, and there was mold on the ceilings of the bathroom. Luckily, after I ripped the manager a new one, she put us in another open unit, that was in slightly better condition. We should have run away at this point, but we had no choice. Don't expect anything that breaks to ever be fixed, don't expect to have functioning smoke alarms (they would never come fix it-even though that's ILLEGAL and we should have reported them). They keep their gate with the main access to Wurzbach CHAINED to supposedly keep residents "safer" (residents are supposed to have remote access, but they have never fixed the broken mechanism on the gates) even though all other gates that are less convenient for the residents to access are left open all the time...and a week after they chained that gate, our apartment was robbed. Trust me, moving here will be the biggest mistake you ever make. This apartment experience pushed us to finally buy a house...good riddance.

Wow, I wrote a review "10/20/2006 What a shame, it could be great..." We also moved from Dallas to SA, had the worst living experience of our lives, and this also pushed us to buy a house... seems like some kind of pattern :o) Sorry this happened to you, and good for you from escaping that hell hole
