I needed a temporary place for three months in the north eastern part of town. The best decision I made was to go with Connemara Estates.
I looked extensively for a good deal on a corporate rental. Since Connemara does corporate rentals directly, you save the cost of a middle man. Connemara was cheaper with a spatious two bedroom than almost every one bedroom apartment I looked at. Please keep in mind when you look at my rent, that included electricity, water, local phone, cable modem, and rental of a desk and couch.
I am a big believer in you get what you pay for, but despite this inexpensive price, Connemara staff is excellent. The few minor problems I had were taken care of almost instantaneously by the staff.
I will comment on each of the categories.
Parking: You are assigned a cover parking spot with your apartment. My friends never had a problem finding a spot.
Noise: Occasionally I heard kids at like 10-11 at night. For an apartment complex extremely quiet.
Grounds: Are nicely kept up. Lawn maintenance is very busy. Trees in the complex make it pretty. Tennis court is beat up. Pool looks nice, but I never used it. Work out room is typical for an apartment complex.
Safety: I think the walkways are immacuately kept up. Very well lit. Never heard of any safety problems. I was kind of concerned with no gates, but really I never saw any problems.
Construction: I would guess 7-8 years old. Everything in my apartment was in good shape. I occasionally had a problem with the bathroom circuit breaker, but it was minor and easily fixable. Lights in bedrooms are a little dim, so I would make sure you have lamps.
Professionalism, I already highlighted this earlier.
