I've lived here just shy of a year now and all in all it has been a good experience. Any maintenance problems that we have had were always taken care of quickly and the main maintenance guy is probably one of the nicest people that I have ever met. Though the office staff is actually pretty rarely there, when they are they are super helpful and very nice - as well as the people on the 24 hour phone lines (if you have a maintenance issue it's best to go through them rather than the office). The complex is starting to get up there in age a little bit so there are probably more and more problems than there have been in the past, but they do their best to fix them in a timely manner. It's a really quiet complex, aside from the train (but you'll get used to that quickly)and all the residents I have encountered are rather friendly.
The only major problem that I or other residents have encountered were fleas (those who had pets and those who did not) due to a huge field across the street that is not mowed as often as it should be (but this is not part of their property and therefore not their responsibility) but they were helpful in calling in exterminators to take care of the problem.
The apartments are a little on the small side and maybe a bit over priced for the area, but I have found the money well worth it for the community and the kind of care we have received.
