We looked at several apartments around this area, and Cornerstone was above and beyond the nicest in this price range!
Although there are not very many amenities offered, the grounds and the buildings are well kept. The complex is small, and the 2 bedrooms are clean, comfortable and cozy.
The management is okay (they are willing to work with you if you have less than perfect credit).
The only things I didn't like were 1)the gate is only closed from 10pm-5am (in my opinion it should be used all of the time), and 2)although you have a reserved spot for one vehicle, parking a second car is sometimes difficult (or impossible).
Overall, I would recommend Cornerstone to someone looking for a nice, clean, affordable 1-2 bedroom on the Southside of San Antonio.

I haved lived at the cornerstone for about a year. I highly recommend the cornerstone. it is a nice fun and SAFE place to live. yeah they dont have a pool but who needs that when you have nice friendly neightbors and a land lady who cares. There is no drama there and the since i haved lived here i have never seen cop cars. Let me just make this quick and easy this is the best place $500 can get you, real nice roomy and a perfect place if its just you or if you do have a family.
