This place is absolutely terrible. My mother and I didn't have much money when we separated from my father and we didn't have any other choice but to move in here. I have heard that the rent is now about $450 and it really is barely even worth half that. We didn't receive new carpet when we moved in and the carpet that was already in our place looked as if it were about 20 years old! The electricity was so faulty it was dangerous to even live there and the management took their time to alleviate the problem despite the seriousness of the situation. Our water heater also leaked onto our ancient carpet and caused it to get moldy. And even then the management didn't replace our carpet. There are no dishwashers or central air conditioning. These duplexes/houses are in horrible condition. If you are even thinking of living here, look elsewhere. For $450 you can get a much better apartment. There are a lot of places on the northside or even on northeast loop 410 that are about the same price but at least have new carpeting, central air, a dishwasher and do not look like hellholes!
