I mold you so

I am still waiting for maintenance to repair my master bedroom walls. Mold has grown in from a rainy night a month ago. After sending the below email to the management team, I had a phone call 15 minutes later (literally), then a maintenance worker in my apartment 25 min later (literally again) and they are planning on fixing the issue by the end of next week.
So, if you are planning on moving in to Creek Crossing, be prepared to type a novel because that is what it takes for your issue to get attention from their management office. I have yet to see if they are going to compensate me in any way, no mention of it yet.
-----------------------------------
On 7-14-07, it rained so hard that the floor in my master bedroom flooded by 1 am. That following Monday, 7-16-07, I reported the issue to the front office by phone.
On Wednesday, 7-18-07, a maintenance worker came and removed the padding from under the carpet and explained it would take a couple of days until it was dry enough to put new padding in. It took almost two full weeks for the padding to be replaced and the carpet is not even laid properly; the edges are loose and there are major visible divisions where they cut the carpet to get to the padding. On 7-20-07, I noticed the walls were damaged from the rain and were molding. I immediately reported this to the front office because breathing in mold (as you know) is a health hazard.
The front office representative explained that maintenance will come out next week to work on it. She also stated that they are short one maintenance worker due to medical leave and they have a lot of work orders that need to be worked on.
We waited two weeks for someone to show up, nobody did. Then, a flyer was posted on every apartment s door stating that for the next two weeks Creek Crossing is going to concentrate solely on all of the service orders that need to be completed throughout the complex. I quickly filled out the flyer and returned it promptly the following day to the front office.
We again waited for over two weeks and not a single maintenance worker came back to my apartment since I reported the mold. I had to move all of my things out of the master bedroom to allow for the maintenance workers to replace the padding under the carpet originally and I STILL cannot use my master bedroom because it has mold growing in it and I am waiting for someone to finally step up and show some advocacy from Creek Crossing. Every week I called them and reminded them of my ongoing issue, every week I was told they will try to get maintenance out there today or tomorrow.
Now here it is, over one month past the night that the storm damaged my apartment and I am still waiting for repairs. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
I pay too much for this apartment just to be told, We will get someone out there and then be stood up while I have to live with mold in my apartment. I think I have been more than fair, lenient, understanding, and cooperative about the situation but now it is time that I start demanding action.
I need these questions answered and I need to know now:
1. Who is responsible for the staff at Creek Crossing, and are they aware of how the staff is dealing with these type of situations, and if so, why are they allowing this'
2. When can I expect someone to be out to my apartment to remove the mold'
3. Do you think it is my responsibility to call in every week and remind your staff about my issue and the lack of support I am receiving' What happened to customer service where the management actually took the time to followup with the customer and ensure that they are being taken care of' I never had one followup call or even a status message about when a maintenance worker would be out, I feel like Creek Crossing could care less about me and my situation.
4. Do you think I enjoy writing letters to your company' Seriously, because it seems that I do not get any cooperation from Creek Crossing unless I get to the point where I am very frustrated and irate about how my situation has been handled so I write a letter and finally I get what need to happen so long ago (this is NOT the first time I have been waiting for maintenance to repair an issue in my household that lasted close to a month).
4. What are you going to do for me' If you want to turn my opinion around about this backwards ran apartment complex, then you need to step up and show me that you understand my situation and are concerned for my well being. At the least, I am wanting to have the master bedroom s portion of this month s rent to be removed since I am STILL NOT ABLE TO LIVE IN IT. But I will leave it up to you to tell me what you will do to win my business back because I can tell you right now if you continue to run your business like this, you won t have much business left (I am not the only customer of Creek Crossing that is frustrated with its lack of service and commitment ).

I would like to believe that Creek Crossing/Sandalwood Mngt. are capable of dealing with the concerns of their resisidents and also to earn the respect of future residents. So far they have failed on every aspect of customer service. Tenants are treated as bothersome at the front office and management does not provide any advocacy as noted in the the above review.
Sadly pathethic.

i relate very well to the problems you have expressed, brother. there is a very current problem with mold in a lot of apts. i am having trouble breathing correctly when i sleep at night. this is not acceptable either. maybe when the mold takes effect on me, my lawyer and i can own this place!
