Unfortunately, we couldn't physically view these apartments before leasing. We were living out of state. My husband and I took a look at this place online and it seemed decent online, the prices were okay.

Upon arriving at the apartments, I was a bit disappointed. It was nighttime, and I could see that the parking lots were very poorly lit. Hello' I don't want to get jumped while going to my car at night. When the sun came up, the grounds looked mediocre. A bad thing I noticed was that since it is off of DeZavala, GOOD LUCK on trying to get out of the apartment gates and onto the main road without waiting for quite a while!

On the upside, management was very helpful and friendly with everything. I would say that's the only good thing about these apartments.

When we were issued our apartment, I couldn't help but notice the stink of dog poo on my walk down the sidewalk to our front door. Goes to show that picking up dog ---- isn't very well enforced there. Yuck. I don't want that crap ending up on the bottoms of my shoes.

Going inside our apartment, I was overwhelmed with the strong stench. Apparently, previous residents were chain smokers, and everything reeked of cigarette smoke. Nasty! When we moved out, all of our things smelled exactly like that nasty a$$ apartment. No matter what we did - air fresheners, candles, etc. nothing got rid of the smell. I'm so used to apartments gutting a place after residents move out - replacing carpets, painting walls, cleaning it up. Our place was a dump. I was glad to have gotten out of there!!!!

The place is crawling with university students, too. I would have to say that college students are better than straight ghetto people, but dang, the guys above would play their music until 4am. Ghetto rap, so you could hear the base banging through the thin a$$ walls.

Bottom line: Don't rent here.
