I think De Zavala Oaks is a good value for the money. If you park in one parking space your car will not get towed. I have forgotten to lock my door to my car and my apartment on several occasions and never had a problem. Yes the pool needs to have the leaves cleaned out more often but there have never been homeless people bathing in it. People are nice and take the time to stop and talk with you, I never hear my neighbors, and I feel safe when my kids are out playing.

Is it perfect' No... I do think the manager is lazy and out of touch with the residents and too many people feel like they can use the pool 24/7(They need to start locking it at night). I tried calling the manager several times with small issues she would never take or return my calls. But luckily for her she has an awesome assistant manager "Myra". On a day when the manager was unavailable Myra took my called and resolved my issue in minutes. Since then I go straight to her for everything, she was out of the office for a few weeks and it was very noticeable. She is fantastic, start asking for her instead of the manager and you will see what a real customer service is all about. My advice to the owner is fire the manager and give the job to Myra. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Myra is now the manager!! Try getting her to return your calls now!!! She has yet to return my 5 calls/messages left for her so far! Clearly a case of Bad Business, therefore a bad place to live!
