Deer Oaks Apartments

Older, but nice From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/2/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003   Deer Oaks Apartments was a good place to live. It is older and therefore cheaper. The maintenance staff were very responsive and the office staff were professional and kind. The grounds are well maintained and I felt safe there. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub that is almost always available. The fixtures are pretty nice. The one complaint I had was that the apartments leak when it rains, in the walls. The floor would get wet, due to being in a first story apartment and the one upstairs had a fireplace (moral: live upstairs if possible, the downstairs tend to get the upstairs leaks). They were however trying very hard. They even replaced all my floor fake-tile while I was there. My husband did say that it is noisy with the leaf blower while he tries to sleep during the day (he works nights). I guess yard maintenance is a good noise to have!
