Husband recently got a permanent change of duty station after being in Bahrain for two years (no dependants allowed at the time). Now the leasing agency has dissaproved the breaking of the lease (even though there is a military clause), because they said I knew about an impending change of duty station when I renewed the lease BACK IN FEBRUARY!
They are telling me I will have to pay the remainder of the rent for the number of months left on my lease.
Save yourself the trouble and rent someone more "military-friendly".
