When i came for the first time i was really surprised at how nice this apartment complex seemed. The clubhouse is nice, they have movie rentals, and they make cookies and drinks every day. The apartment they showed me seemed very nice, the only problem i saw was that only the master bedroom has a ceiling fan which bothered me a little. My 2 roommates and i signed the lease and we thought that we were going to have a great experience living here, we were somewhat mistaken.

1) The women at the front are all great, especially Shelly. Except the assistant Manager Georgie is the -----. My check bounced once because of problems with my bank and this lady had absolutely no sympathy for me. I wasn't notified until about 2 weeks later and they added almost $200 in late charges. All i wanted was to maybe bring that down a little but the woman would not budge, she said that i should not receive special treatment.

2) Parking is the worst thing you can imagine here. I live in building 2 and parking can be so rediculous sometimes. There are times that during the day, like 2pm i can't even find a spot in front of my building. There are a few cars that dont seem to move for weeks, right now there is a wrecked saturn that has been there for more than 2 weeks without moving. Im a college student so i like to go out and have fun on the weekends, the problem is coming home to no parking. On one occasion i drove around the entire complex and there was not a single spot available. I had to park in the space next to a handicapped space and to my surprise my car had been towed and was not there in the morning. I complained to the staff and they said there was nothing they could do because it was illegal to park in a striped space.

3) You pretty much cant swim in the pool. I lifeguarded for 4 years while in high school and know how a pool should be run and there are some serious problems with this one. The pool is severely over-chlorinated and you can smell it while walking around it, your eyes will literally be burning after just minutes of swimming. I think they just shock the pool everyday instead of cleaning it and trying to maintain a proper chlorine level. Some of the chairs are broken and there was even a glass table that was broken for a while and not removed or replaced.

4) When we moved in we were told we were going to get new carpet. Nope, we moved in and found an old gross carpet that had been steam cleaned. Within days all the stains began to rise to the surface and we were left with a new apartment that already had stains. The appliances are all okay except for the microwaves. I have never used such crappy ones in my life, they take excessively long to cook anything. It's not just us either, i have friends that live here and they experience the same problems.

5) Maintenace takes a while to get anything done. Our dishwasher was broken for a month before it was fixed. It was leaking water all over the place and now the wall behind it is turning brown and staining. The hallways in all the apartments are stained and could really use a good power clean.

6) The trash situtation is absolutely disgusting. There is one trash compactor for the entire complex. It fits about the same amount of trash as one trash dump but that is not nearly enough for all the residents. There is always trash on the floor and i want to throw up everytime i walk in there. The only people that seem to be happy are the cats, they live in the area where the trash is and are thriving. We were told that nothing could be done about them because the area is private property or something like that' There are about 10-15 cats that wander around the complex and some people are even feeding them.

Overall i think it would be a bad choice for anyone to move into these apartments. At first you might think they are nice but after living there for a while you will begin to see why this place has such a bad rating and it's tenants can't wait to get out of here.

Overall, i recommend staying away

Good review and I know your pain. I stayed there for 18 months in anger and misery. Georgie tried to talk down to me and over charge me but I put her in her place really good because I didn't care for her attitude any way,
