Great for an older complex

I am happy to be a member of this complex.. The plus about living in an older complex is that the bedrooms and walk-in closets are bigger than new apartments. The grounds are filled with large trees and I have been allowed to grow a small flower garden in my area.
We have been granted a grant from GreenSpaces Alliance and now have the beginnings of garden spaces for families. Boy Scouts will build picnic tables for us.
The Staff is friendly and are always prompt when I need services. I find that when one pays rent on time and care of the property as if it was one's own, then management are anxious to keep you....

READ: I know you are managment posing/posting as residents b/c what you are speaking of dosen't exist......This place is total crap hole with arrogant, inept, blindsided office staff and an owning company that dosen't give a damn...Don't rent @ any "Shelter Corp." properties!!!

After 1 1/2 more years I am beginning to change my mind. Upkeep in general is non-existant. Patio walls are decaying and unpainted, the watering system has not worked in 3 years, the manager says she has turned it in and Shelter Corp. won't approve the money..Floors are caving in, bricks are falling off of buildings, the beautiful landscaping that existed 3 years ago is dead. My corner is fine, because I planted a garden and maintain it with a public faucet. They are good at repairing things promptly in my apartment and have promised to replace the carpet damaged by water damage due to a crack in the building,... Things need to change soon..
