I moved here a year ago. A few month later I noticed my air vents needed to be cleaned. I called the office several times and the vents are still not cleaned. Really dificult to reach the manager, she never calls you back and she is never there. Out of desperation I mailed a certified letter with maintenance request. And of cource she called me back like 2 weeks later with promises. As of today the vents are still not cleaned and from the first request it has been about 4-5 months. When you talk to the manager she tries to sweet talk you with promises, but she just sucks! She never keeps her promises! Girls at the office are very helpful, but they can not do much about it. I do not know how much longer it will take her to do the request, but i am really tired of her cold "leave me alone" attitude. I wish we have somebody else, who does care for people in this apartments.

I am witness; the head resident manager does make a lot of promises and does not manage the promises to an end. I've issued several maintenance requests to the head resident manager and never did the maintenance person show up on time or day. I would have to make consecutive phone calls to get service in the same day; something the management should be doing, not me. I've even asked for services immediately outside my unit which the head resident manager promised to fulfill, and months later no results. Trash strewn all over the complex premises, a huge eye sore, but this is okay to management. They don't have the decency to devise a solution to this unsanitary eye sore. This is suppose to be a secure gated complex, sure, only when the driveway gates are working properly and the walk-in gates are locked. The on site gym is unsanitary and the equipment unsafe. Management does not schedule regular services to disinfect the exercise room and equipment, nor do they maintain and service the equipment to safe standards. The two treadmills, the belts slip when running on it and have been slipping for months; very unsafe. The leg press machine, when you begin to press the weights with your legs, the adjustable seat jumps out of the track and swiftly sends you backward; not safe. The elliptical machine, the handle has been coming loose for months and remains this way. The seated row machine, the seat upholstery his half chewed up and gone; still this way. The gym has a big hole in the dry wall; it has been there for months now; still not fixed. These are "some" of the management problems tenants unwillingly endure. Most of the tenants here came from out of state and are here temporarily while making a transition. In conclusion, the ultimate fix for Dove Valley Ranch is to hire a resident manager who is proactive, knowledgeable of the business, and cares about the residence and improving to this community. One last thing, when I requested maintenance through the head resident manager and the maintenance person did not show up, I found out through the staff that the head resident manager never logged the request into the computer. Maybe the head resident manager enjoys her wine more than her responsibility as a manager.... Another item, I've never seen management "walk the property." How are they to maintain the complex if they don't go out and see what the property requires of them? More wine for the manager!
