Great place to live!!!

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
We just renewed our lease for another 13 months. We are a military family like many of the other residents and moved to The Enclave from Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. We contacted the compelex via internet & Crystal called us with further information within 24 hours. The office staff is really WONDERFUL. All of the ladies are very pleasant and helpful, and I love how they hold packages that are too large to fit in the mailbox. What is super is the location right next to Serna Elementary. With having only 1 vehicle, it's so convenient to be able to walk our son back & forth to school everyday. The fitness room is state of the art with all sorts of equipment, and there are lighted basketball & tennis courts also. Maintenace hasn't been that big of an issue; just a broken microwave handle, overflowing toilet, leaky faucet & 1 broken kitchen drawer. The rooms are decent sized with a walk-in closet in each. The only thing that's a little weird is the toilet & tub are in a little "bathroom" while the mirror & sink are actually part of the bedroom in the master. Very spacious linen & hall closet, big living & dining area, good sized porch, and a laundry closet on the porch for the washer & dryer. We have our own, but you can also rent the washer & dryer instead of using the laundry room. I guess my one big complaint would be the garbage system. There is only 1 trash compactor for the whole complex & the stinky trash is ALWAYS overflowing. The maintenance crew is really good about picking it up every morning, but over the weekend it gets really piled up. There is a nice grassy area with a bbq pit at the back of the complex, but everyone lets their dogs do their business back there without bothering to pick it up. We live at the back of the complex which has great parking, but if you get a front apartment, good luck with the parking! This is a very quiet complex with no problems so far in the 13 months we've lived here. There are security gates at the front of the complex which work most of the time, and they've really done some great landscaping work in the last couple of months. The pools are regularly cleaned so I have no problem taking the kids in. One more thing to mention, on the other side of the fence line there is a "gentleman's" club called "Wild Zebra," which I would've preferred to know before we moved in. Overall this is a fantastic complex with great office personnel, speedy maintenance guys, and an incredible price for a suitable apartment for our military lives. I really would have no second thoughts on recommending this complex to anyone.
