I Moved into my apartment on 4/17/2009. I was so excited to be in my own place and worked so hard to get there. I loved working with Kerri Dsniels through out the whole process she really wanted to help make my experience a lasting one. Being that i was still new to the complex i really hadnt met anyone there. I worked all day and when i wasnt working i was catching up on sleep for work... never had a problem with the apartment until a week ago when my apartment got broken into. I have only live there for 2 months. I never expected this to happen and when i contacted the office i was unable to get a hold of anyone... They acted like it was all my fault and didnt seem to want to help me.... being a young single woman on my own i feel unsafe living in a place that doesnt seem to care about people safety... It is supposed to be a gated community and the gates dont even work... i had to buy a gate card that i have probably only used twice the whole time i lived there... i would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone..... People please look around before making a decision on where you want to live... i should have looked into these apartments more... like how many breakins they have had... now i am stuck trying to get my life back together and starting over.....

The evening courtesy patrol is only there from 9pm to 5am... which I did not know until all of this happened. so I assumed he or she was on call and after getting the voice mail telling me to leave a message and they will call me back when they can, came on I called the second number listed and got the managers voice mail.... so she did not answer the first time I called she had to call me back.... as for the maintenance guy he was rude and impatient and also under the influence of alcohol. As for securing my window he covered it with duct tape... HOW IS THAT SECURE??? How comfortable would you be staying in a place that had just been broken into and not properly secured. On top of all that he went and made false accusations about me to management... who turned around and assumed I had lots of children and my mother living with me in a 1 bedroom apartment. I don??t appreciate being stereotyped into this person I??m not. As for the offers that were given to me they were as follows: 1.) move to the only available apartment in the back of the complex which would not be ready until the following Thursday(which according to other tenants is where the break-ins happen the most)... 2.) Cancel my lease and come up with 1,000 dollars in 30 days.... 3.)Break my lease....
I was never given the option to transfer to a sister property.... as for my statement about the gates being 100% false I??m sorry ma'am but they do not work...... I am not the first person to bring it up either.....

wow, this place seems unsafe, and this anonymous reader needs to get an sight at the community who lives at this complex. i was referred by a friend who lived here, but with all the comments that i read, have not been a good insight to this apartment complex. my suggestion to this facility is to fix the problem.

As a reminder to all readers, honesty is key when you post a review on this site! Ma'am, you, and all residents are provided with the evening courtesy patrol AND the manager's own cell numbers for after hour needs. You contacted the manager at 6:45PM and she answered. The manager was very empathetic to your unfortunate situation and listened quite attentively to you on the phone. Maintenance was immediately called out to secure your window after SAPD had conducted fingerprinting. Your comment about the gates not working is 100% false. Texas Department of Transportation has temporarily closed our exit driveway due to the huge hole they created in the concrete driveway during the current highway construction. We make sure our gates are always in working condition and spend the necessary money when repairs are needed. The TX DOT construction is obviously out of The Enclave's control. The manager was more than understanding when she offered you the option to transfer to any other apartment location on site or to a sister property in San Antonio. You, however, chose to cancel your lease with our lease cancellation addendum we provide. As with every apartment community, security is something that undoubtedly cannot be guaranteed. We try hard to offer everything available to make our tenants comfortable here at The Enclave. I am truly sorry for your terrible mishap and hope that you will have a better experience in your 2nd apartment! We wish you the very best.
