Two Thumbs Up for Us!

My husband and I lived at escalante from 06-07 and we LOVED this community.
Maintenance was always very responsive and efficient, leaving a work order receipt after each visit.
No problems with noisy neighbors.
The only problem we incurred was the tenant below us. She was elderly and also in remission from cancer (which she reminded us of frequently). She complained when we moved in about banging and stomping...uhm, we were moving in. Eventually the office asked her to lay off since it was getting ridiculous.
That taught me one thing: If you live in an 'apartment complex' don't expect a "home" environment. It should be obvious that if you share walls/floors you're bound to hear your neighbors. So, suck it up and save to buy your own home...like us!
At any rate, Lincoln Property Management is a great management company and they take great care of their property and try to ensure their tenants are pleased.
We had such an enjoyable experience that we are moving back in (August 08') while we plan our own home!
The apartments are not extravagant like the others we viewed, but they are just perfect. And you can't beat them for the price. Crown molding and minor upgrades = comfortable living.
TWO THUMBS UP FOR ESCALANTE!
P.s. Forgot to mention that parking for guests was very hard to find occassionally around building 26.

How many notices were left on your door regarding vehicle vandalism / theft and home invasion? While this isn't a house, as a former resident, I can tell you some neighbors have no consideration of their noise level and vulgarity. Sounds like you found a good spot. I disagree w/ the statement about Lincoln Property Management. They poorly implemented the upgrades (repaved parking lot, exterior work, etc) and had little concern for residents (like leaving an old notice of towing vehicles if they weren't moved THAT day while people were @ work). But I took your advice- I got a house. However, I wouldn't consider moving back. Ever. -Jack Bauer

ear Jack Bauer: I'm starting to think it was you doing all the vandalism! And I'm guessing you don't have much to do either, other than trying to discredit Escalante Apartments. We get it, you had a bad experience, how about moving on now. Enjoy your new house :)
