Escalante lives up to all my high expectations! I m a first time renter and everyone, maintenance and management, have been superb! Everyone is so friendly and inviting! The grounds are kept in tip-top shape; there is a great view from where ever you stand. Parking is almost never issues because everyone is assigned a covered parking space- and anything uncovered is first come first served - Plus detached garages if you want one! My neighbors tend to keep to themselves, but we all give a friendly hello when we do see each other. At night the community is well lit, and there is a security camera by the main gates. I'm always leery of people who leave 5 star reviews. They're either very naive, work for the apartment they're reviewing or not objective. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this review is too glowy IMO. Parking never an issue? This is true if you have one vehicle- otherwise you're out of luck & might have to park in the other lot @ Carmel. Security camera is new since I moved out. Must have had something to do w/ all those notices on my door regarding vehicle vandalism, theft and home invasion. If you're looking @ Escalante, be sure to ask about those notices. I lived here for a few years and left a lengthy review. Check it out- its been bumped to the bottom since all these glowy, 5-star reviews started to show up. -Jack Bauer

I agree with this review Escalante is a really good place to live at. It might now be perfect 100% but it has been great for me and my husband. In response to the "anonymous" reply, we have both cars and never have trouble finding parking spots. We did have someone park on my covered slot once, but that got solved right away. The maintenance staff are really friendly and the front office too. There's just one tall girl with glasses that doesn't provide too good customer service, but the other ladies are great.
