I have read all the reviews posted and although I agree with some and disagree with others, mine is just an opinion just like the rest. I have been a very happy resident of Escalante since 2004. At the time I moved in, I chose Escalante for the location (nestled within a upscale residential area),and the square footage for the price and the amenities it offers. My lease is coming up at the end of this month and although I have been very pleased with my stay at Escalante, I decided it was time to do some comparison shopping. I spent two full days checking out apartments around the area (Blanco, Bitters, 1604, NW Military) and looked at over 15 properties. I compared location, square footage, parking, amenities, average water bills, cost for additional storage, pet fees, application/administration fees, and deposits. I found NOTHING that compares to Escalante!!

I could sit here and say that I have never had a friend or family member that had a problem finding a parking space, or that I have never had anything break or been unhappy with something that the office staff had to say, but that would not be realistic for me to say. It would also not be realistic for me to have the expectation that living in an apartment community, that I wouldnt have some of these issues - not matter what apartments I lived in.

Needless to say, I am happy to report that I have signed another year lease with Escalante! Bethany, as well as the rest of the Escalante staff have gone above and beyond for me through out my time here and I will continue to stay a loyal resident!
