The office staff is mostly rude, though there are one or two nice people. The maintenance men are great, very nice and friendly though it takes an average of three days or longer to get anything fixed. The apartments themselves seem kinda cheap on the inside. Bad paint jobs, plastic door knobs, dirty carpet, etc. The grounds are really pretty and so are the pools. The gates are ALWAYS broken. The workout room is small. Parking is good if you get home before 5. The worst thing about living here is the amount of car break in's. It has happened to me, and to 3 of my 5 neighbors. Even the cops are in awe of the situation here. There's a lot of section 8 apts. right down the road. You can check crime reports by going to www.crimebase.mysanantonio.com then just type in the address 4400 Horizon Hill. I'm looking forward to moving out, the complex is overpriced for what you get.
