The two reviews previous to mine pretty much sum up what it's like to live here.

My issue is with my neighbors, management, and maintenance...

My neighbor with scream profanities at her younger-than-school-age children daily. We've complained about this (and the running up and down the hallways till 11 or 12 every night, and the dog beatings) repeatedly. The only action that has been taken is to give them a warning, which they promptly ignore. It gets worse with every passing week.

When we try to reasonably discuss it with the manager she takes minimum action (as noted above). She will also tell us whatever it takes to keep us here and keep us quiet, like... after x complaints about noise it will go to court, but it's almost impossible to get an evection on a noise complaint(which another manager told us is not true). No other complex will lease to you if you break your lease here (also not true unless she refuses to provide documentation that we paid our obligated fees). When we asked for the number of the management company she refused to give it to us and said that we would end up just talking to her anyway. (Sounds to me like someone is doing a crappy job and trying to cover it up).

As for maintenance, unless you've got water coming in your apartment that isn't supposed to be there, don't expect it to get fixed. Our washer lines leaked within the first few weeks of moving in. The maintenance man came and fixed it, and a few days later he and his assistant came to dry wall the huge hole in out hallway, but they have not returned to finish filling the small holes left or paint the patched spot, despite asking several times (over 6 months) for it to be finished. We've asked repeatedly to have our dryer vent cleaned so we don't have to run our dryer 2 or 3 times to get the laundry dry and for our refigerator door to be repaired so it doesn't just open randomly and let the cold air our. Neither one of these issues has been addressed at all. I guess since it's not their electricity bill, they're not worried about it.

The price is right for the space, and it is one of the better complexes in the area (not that that is saying much), but I can't wqait to get out.
