It's really hard to recommend ANY apartment, but I moved to San Antonio from Los Angeles in Nov. '98. I was a Freshman in High School. So it was a convience to walk to school from where we lived. My parents had to arrange everything w/out looking at the apartments through the phone. When we got to Fox Fire and my mother saw the apartment they set up for us she came back PISSED OFF! Luckily, they situated us at a different apartment in a more open area. My mom was happy.
My mother can be a agressive person, but I witnessed the managment through the time we were there be rude to her.

They were always turning off the water! It really sucked when you had to take a bath but you couldn't because they had to turn off the WATER! Finally, we moved just before I started my senior, which was in '01.

I ended up moving back to Fox Fire w/ my boyfriend....but we moved in w/ his dad because we needed to save money for school! So you can't blame us. Anyhow, we had noisy upstair neighbor with a yappy dog. They ended up starting a fire, but it only was the balcony that suffered (luckily). Yes many Churchill students seem to flock to the 2nd pool area. They seem to be skipping class. If you see this you should contact the school and they WILL send a campus police officer. You can HEAR the churchill band as well. Not fun!

There was a robbery w/ some crazy chulo type guys. (I can say that because darn it I'm chicana proud!) They beat up this older chulo guy. Ever since then they hired a sheriff. They do not have automatic gates, but the sheriff opens them @ 600A and closes them @ 1000P. This was horrible because sometimes he would NOT open them on time and I would have to go all the way around to the front entrance to get out. (I did live towards the back of the complex) Not good if there were to be a real FIRE. I'm not sure how it is now, but I moved out in 2004.

The place was a dump. Have you seen the hilarious reviews that have been popping up on foxfire, lately? Apparently, Management is flooding the sight with favorable reviews to bolster their piss poor ratings? Maybe you should repost your review.
