I have lived in French Place Apartments for nearly two years and enjoyed it. The large one bedroom apartment has the best floorplan of any 1 bedroom I have seen. The two bedroom floorplan is not as nice, but any of the apartments can offer a great view since the complex is on a hill. Covered parking is assigned but the open parking often fills up at night and a few residents have to park outside of the gates. Since these apartments are older and of good quality, they are very well insulated, very quiet, and utility bills are LOW. The pool is small, but nice. The apartment manager lives on site and there is a full-time maintenance person who responds to calls quickly - usually the same day. The staff even bring you your packages. The grounds are awesome - beautiful courtyards with fountains, plants, brick walkways and large, mature trees. The complex feels very safe, though the neighborhood is not as nice as the suburbs - (Typical). Overall, it has been a very positive living experience and I would recommend it, though a new management company has purchased it - so we'll see.
