As a student at the local college, my first experience with the management revealed a lack of preparation. My mom and I had to clean the apartment to move in in preparation to start school. Days after I moved into the apartment, the manager that leased the apartment to me was no longer the manager in charge. Management went from bad to worst with the new manager. Management at the complex shows a total lack of concern and is untrustworthy. When I moved out of the apartment, the condition was left better than it was when I moved in. Of course, management created reasons to keep my deposit. After I had been out of the apartment for 3 months, I called to ask for the status of my deposit, and I was told that an explanation was sent by mail explaining why I would not receive the deposit back. (As of today, I received nothing.) We were also not given, when ask, a contact person and address to file a complaint with the corporate office. The lease agreement you sign does not address what to do with bad attitudes of employees.

The apartment was adequate for the money, however, don't trust the management to be fair.

Unfortunately, I cannot speak for any employees or the status of apartments ready for move-in prior to January 30th of this year. I can however, let each current and prospective resident know that a complete make ready process is performed prior to move-in up to and including: full paint job, carpet cleaning and cleaning service. Also, upon move-out a complete inspection of the apartment is done by both the manager and maintenance manager, which is documented and photographed should there be any issues. This inspection is to ensure there are no damages in the apartment and that all appropriate cleaning has been performed by the previous resident. Should there in fact be any damages or the apartment be dirty with no attempt to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition, charges are then assessed and deducted from the deposit on hand. In addition, as our water/gas billing is done two month in arrears, a resident's last two months worth of utilities is deducted from the deposit. A statement detailing any charges and deductions is then mailed to the forwarding address within 30 days of move-out. In this particular incident, a statement was twice mailed out to the previous resident (one of which was sent certified mail). Also, our office staff is instructed to release our corporate customer service number upon request. In this particular incident our corporate representatives did in fact speak with the previous resident's guarantor to explain the charges and verify the forwarding address to which the certified mail was sent. agree 100%, the management is the worst. There are no numbers or another person to talk to, if you don't agree with the manager. Somehow the corporate office needs to know about the bad attitudes of the manager, to bad there is no number that you can call.
