STAY AWAY! Not a safe, apts and staff are a nightmare

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007
I lived at these Apartments for a little over 2 years. When I first moved in the office staff was fair and reasonable. ONLY one maintenance man was trustworthy and efficient. He would not only do his job according to what his employer (Hearthstone apts.. and/or C and C investors) expected. But he would always go above and beyond. No matter what time day or night, if a resident needed help with just about anything he ALWAYS helped. That manger fired this man and he has hired an attorney to file sexual harassment charges on the manager. I believe him, because he has always been honest and a good person to us and all of the residents.
Now there is a new manager (and staff) that is a joke. The manager, especially, is rude, insensitive and doesn t care about the residents at all. For example, right before a poisonous spider, while helping him recover, bit Christmas My boyfriend I had strict orders from the doctor to keep EVERYTHING very sterile and clean. Our kitchen sink had been backed up and I was unable to wash dishes before we went to the hospital, as soon as we got home I immediately went to the office and filled out a work order to have the sink repaired. The manager was not in the office that day and the man working in the office told me that it could not be repaired until Monday (this was a Friday). I pleaded with him to call the manager and explain to her the how important it was to have the sick repaired so that I could not only cook meals but keep the kitchen and everything else clean. He said he couldn t and I would have to wait. I finally realized he didn t care and waited until Monday. It wasn t until 3 WEEKS LATER (after new years) that she finally sent our maintenance man (who had not even been told about this until he came to repair the sink) he apologized over and over, fixed the sink and even cleaned up the mess under the sink from it flooding.
While moving out of the apartment we were in (which was VERY close to the office) we were broke into. The apartment vandalized and our big screen TV, carpet cleaner, Craftsman toolbox and tools, along with a few other items were stolen. The manager said she saw the kids who did it and called the police. We asked was a case number and the officers name, she was unable to remember this info, gave us an insincere apology and told us we had until midnight to clean and remove the (very) few personal things we had left there.
I could give several more examples and reasons to stay away, but I think you have heard enough. (Oh, and the crime is unreal, its not safe at all! And the security, well, the police officer who moved in and was our on site security moved out because the conditions were so bad!)
