I moved in the begining of May this year and was told when I signed my lease that I could hook up my washer and dryer in my storage unit. Wrong! No way to do it. Maintanience seemed nice the first couple of weeks but then started to ignore us. Was robbed and told management who didn't care. I have bugs the size of business cards, the tub was painted and now the paint chips off. I have to bathe my 9 month old daughter in a tub with paint that will float in it if I don't watch out. I buy Drano once a week and still can't keep my sinks unclogged. The main garbage next to my building is always overflowing. It stinks. My utility bill has been over $350 for the last 2 months. People park in my parking spot and management does nothing. I'm breaking my lease because my husband and I are struggling so much to live here. Please, unless you have a lot of time and money to spend fixing things and driving to the laundry mat because the dryer burns your clothes DON'T LIVE HERE!!!

It's funny when people use lame excuses to break their lease. It's always easier to put the blame on someone else when they can't pay their rent.

I cannot imagine management telling a resident that they can connect their washer/dryer in a facility in which there is no plumbing. Are you sure you didn't misunderstand? Perhaps you were told there was ample room in the storage room for appliances you were not using. (Was it your dryer that was "burning" your clothes? If not, why were you renting a washer/dryer when you had your own?)
It has been my experience that The Heritage management does its best to diligently enforce protection of your paid covered parking space.
I am also somewhat intrigued as to why your highest rating was for this community was "Safety," when you claimed to have been "robbed."
The Heritage, as of June, 2008, is owner-managed and, as such, has a personal and professional interest in its operations.

hmmmm...i wonder if these "anonymous posters" are the office staff themselves. i also experienced the same problems, especially with the office staff. if they have a response, they should at least admit who they are.
