I just moved out of there, after only 6 months, and it was awful. The staff is nice to you while they're showing the apartment to you, but once you sign that lease - they are irresponsible and horribly rude. No matter how much you talk to anyone there - they can't manage to deal with the garbage, the grass is INFESTED WITH FLEAS, and iether the gate or your clicker are broken. We had our car broken into, along with our neighbours - not an uncommon occurance there, because the "gated community" claim is a joke. There are much better places for the money.

I apologize for your unpleasant experience at Hidden Lake. I have been the property manager here since November 2005 and there have only been three vehicle break-ins that I am aware of. This is a very small amount considering the crime rate and statistics for San Antonio. I am available to any and all residents with concerns and I wish that I had an opportunity to address your concerns with you while you were a resident with us. We provide a trash service that is unlike most communities in San Antonio; it is a curbside pickup three days a week to provide an awesome convenience for our residents. Unfortunately, some residents don't follow the policies in regards to that service, we have procedures to assist with the enforcement of those policies. It is a service that I think is so beneficial to apartment living and we think it's great for our community. We wish you the best of luck.

People are allowed to keep trash on their balcony, and window screens are allowed to be taken off. Neighbors are allowed to play their piano until 2am. When you call them to perform a simple maintenance job they can not even get that right. Do Not Live here. People allow their pets to do their business right outside my balcony and management does nothing this place is a dump. If I wanted to live this way I would have moved to the South side.
