Finally moving out...

I have lived at Hidden Lake since July of 2005. Finally, I am moving out an entire month before my lease ends. I cannot stand my neighbors upstairs, the police have been here between 7-10 times because the parents are unable to control their toddlers. Whose idea was it to stick a 2 and 4 year old on the second floor'' Pictures have fallen off my wall due to the stomping, jumping, running and even the occasional ride in the full size wagon! Hidden Lake staff have told me they will write letters reminding them to be quiet. I have complained roughly 15 times in six months to no avail, I have just decided to begin blasting the noise on the TV. Overall, nice property, good staff, well maintained, but if your stuck in a bind, they are not willing to help. Also, since we are near the lake, you will get bugs. Scorpions are the worst ones to deal with, I have had about three a year. Parking is ok unless you get home around midnight, then you might be hiking a while. Its safe as far as I know, but the gates rarely work although they have been working better recently (renter season). If there is a drop of rain, the road out of the back of the apartment is closed and the gate is locked shut, no big deal other than a minor annoyance. Overall I would rate it a 3 out of a 5, but I would not let my family or good friends live here. I pray that the next person to take my apartment is either deaf or has even louder children than those upstairs!
