It looks so pretty when you first drive in... sign a lease and watch it all turn ugly
I lived at Hidden Lake for 13 months -- in that time, the gates were broken about half the time, the entire property floods (meaning you risk damaged furniture and because the lock the back gate, you only have one way in and out), a few of the buildings in the back (14, 15, and 16) are completely shifting due to poor foundations and the fact that they've been built on a flood plain. No one picks up after their pets, children run all over the place and make a mess of the pool, and maintenance rarely shows up in a timely manner, much less actually FIXES the problem. My neighbors below me let their 2 year old outside alone, the neighbors across from me left the country for 3 months so they didn't have to stay in their shifting, cracking, and crumbling apartment, and the neighbor next to me beat his girlfriend until the police arrived (management didn't make him leave) and then abandoned his 100 lb. Great Dane puppy in his apartment for 2 weeks with no food or water (except for the toilet)and when the police arrived and instructed management to call animal control to remove the dog -- they said they would but didn't. So, in short, they are very consistent: they couldn't give a damn about adults, children, starving animals, cleanliness, or good management. Good luck if you ever decide to move here!
On a side note, they're always changing management and it never gets any better!

I definitely agree with this post. There were two kids driving around in a Mustang and I called the 24 hour service to let them know and they claimed to call the police (which they did) but with no information whatsoever. They were very very rude about it when I called back. So I called the police myself who came out and talked to us (it was about 1 or 2 in the morning). By the time he came out it was too late and the two kids decided to go home and of course not answer the door when we sent the cop over there. Management could and SHOULD have done more. This has nothing to do with being a "nosey hoe" if they're loud enough to wake someone up it's everybody's business.
