Could be better

If I could warn anyone considering the Highlands of one thing, it would be parking. The parking here is a nightmare; in fact, it's non-existant. After 10 pm, good luck trying to find a spot.
Walls are well insulated from side to side, as I never heard my next door neighbors. The problems come with the in-between floor insulation.
The management team is sometimes helpful, sometimes condescending. They don't look out for the residents' best interests until you threaten to report them. They reinforce tiny rules, but let others slip by- for instance, your neighbor could get away with playing loud music until 4 a.m. for months, but if you have an electric grill on your balcony, you'll receive a violation notice.
The apartments themselves are very nice and I never experienced a bug problem here. But if you're looking for the smallest (and cheapest) one bedroom, they're hardly ever available.
Nice complex, but could be better. For the money you spend, you could rent at other complexes that are less pricey, have better management, and have a lot more amenities.
