Downhill turn is unfortunate

I have to agree with the posters who said this place is going downhill. I have lived here for a few years and have noticed that it will have it's downhill moments as well as periods of time where all is peaceful. Unfortunately, the last few months have shown a decline in the complex. There have been numerous break-ins and attempted break-ins to apartments, as well as to the vehicles here. I am awakened more than once a week to loud, drunk people who are either just getting out of hand or downright fighting. However I don't place the sole blame on the apartment staff. Recently a security guard has been hired to patrol the complex in the evening hours so they are showing an effort to try to combat the problem. So far the noise problem has not declined with the officer, but they are showing they are trying. It's about time though because in my opinion this is a nice complex that just has some less than par residents living here at the time. I am assuming they may not do full checks on some of the residents before they move in, because I'm sure they could judge their character before leasing to them. I can do that just be watching the people for 10 seconds. Other than that the apartment itself is nice, and the maintanence does a good job with repairs on a timely basis. Parking is not bad. All in all I would say it's just unfortunate that some "shady" residents are ruining this complex for everyone else.
