TELL ME SWEET LITTLE LIES

I was shown an aparment that I found to be only ok considering the apartment I was moving from. I was sold on the apartment because of the rather private and serene view of the woods from the bedroom and patio window. This was the "win me over feature". I was assured that the apartment I wasto move into would have the exact same few with a few more positive features. Aparently there was a fire in my apartment 2 tenants ago and I was told the apartment had been completely refurbished with new cabinets and crown molding, and all new appliances carpest and such. Well, before I was to move into my new apartment I requested to be able to do a final viewing to just get some measurements and do a once over. I was told that would be no problem and that as soon as the apartment was ready they would let me see it. I NEVER got that chance, and when I picked up my keys to the apartment and looked inside I nearly died. No crown molding and the selling point, the patio and view I loved so much did not exist in this apartment. My patio and bedroom windows overlook the beautiful I10 Highway, an IHOP building sized billboard, A loading dock for the local furniture company and an industrial sized always overflowing and decaying dumpster. When my lease is up I will be leave a cartoon trail of dust in my wake.
