So I am now one year removed from living at the hill at woodway. I lived there for over 3 years in 3 different apartment layouts. I liked the apartments for most of the time I lived there but after I left they tried to stick me with an outrageous bill for the carpets. I was told my carpets were contaminated with pet urine and that this had been confirmed by a laboratory who tested the padding under the carpet. I informed them that this was impossible. You see have had my dog for over 6 years and I can count the # of times she has gone inside on one hand. I requested a copy of this proof they claimed to have and was told they would mail me a copy along with an itemized bill. Neither one ever arrived. After many calls and requests for this info the apartment manager finally got in touch with me and told me that they were reducing the fee (originally over $800) down to $200 as I had been such a good tenant. Again I was told the proof would be in the mail but I only received a bad copy of the bill with the $850 scratched out and $200 hand written in.

This was not the first time they had tried to get extra $$ out of us but it was the last. Take pictures before you leave and make sure to do a walk through with the manager after you have moved out. Protect yourself and your $$
