I am currently a tenant within The Hill at Woodway. Since my April 2007 move-in date I have had problems with the A/C unit in my apartment. I had since the beginning of May submitted repeated requests (4 work orders and 12 phone calls) to have the unit repaired. I was told by Melissa, the manager that to cool my a 800sq ft 1 bedroom apartment my bill can be expected to be $175.00 -$ 290.00. I was also told by the apt maintenance man Chad, who is no longer with the company that the unit was way overdue for replacement at 20 years old. I again, August 2, 2007,expressed my concern because I fell ill and needed the cool climate to control my asthma.My apartment couldn't maintain 75 degrees Fereignheight during the day and that is when the situation for me became complicated to my health. I had to be hospitalized for my condition and was displaced from my unit for approximately 5 days. Of the 12 calls made, 3 were to JMG properties for help. It took an entire week for a phone call back from JMG of which I made to get someone to respond. When I asked for a prorate for the days I could not reside theredue to my health condition I was told by regional manager within JMG on the day I was dicharged from the hospital that I could transfer to another unit on property at my own expense. I asked for prorated rent for the days lost and JMG found it suitable to for me to try to come up with 4 times that amount to move myself. Please beware if you rent here. I have yet to see the 5th work order stating that the replacement was done.
