Not awful...FAR from great

Fairly new complex, wonderful first year discount and the growing area convinced us to sign a lease. However once ours is up in about 2 months we WILL NOT resign. Parking is horrible if you don't get home before dark, especially on weekends. The bedrooms are too small, we literally have to squeeze between our queen sized bed and dresser to walk around the room. Bathrooms are large and so is the balcony and storage area which is great but that doesn't make up for the little things. For instance the staff lost one of our rent checks and admitted to losing it but still charged US late fees!! The other residents don't clean up after pets which is awful, and I've seen nothing done about it but a warning in the monthly newsletter. The constant changing of the gate code doesn't bother me, if it makes us safer. The area has grown so much however it makes traffic bad. Ex. no street light letting residents out onto main street makes your morning drive onto highway dangerous and backed up.
