We used to go into the office all of the time when the original manager of 25 years was there. When she was there, the staff was excellent and friendly. When she retired, everything went down hill. We cringe if we have to go into the office and speak to anyone face to face....you can feel the tension in the air, like when you know you are not welcome somewhere, but they HAVE to act like they are happy to see you. I can say that I have heard the ladies in the office talk about tennents badly, so I can only imagine what has been said when we leave the office. Honey Hill used to be welcoming community. They raised the rent twice in the last 2 years, but have lowered their quality of service and attention. Who needs a monthly luncheon or silly newsletter on my door every month - cut those expenses and lower rent or put that money into a security guard!!!! I will say Maitenence has always been fast to respond....but that's about it. After the original manager of 25 years retired, the owner/mgmnt set up shop in the office. She always seems to be in the worst mood, never smiling or acting like you are important to her. She has never had a kind word to say to us, or EVER greeted us with a friendly hello. We feel like she couldn't care less. And the manager - more of the same...it seems she was happier when she was an agent - before she became the manager. It is just dissappointing because we have been her when things were good, and the potential was great....it's amazing how one woman retiring can bring an entire apt complex's reputation tumbling down behind her. Either the manager was not ready to be a manager or the owner/mgmntcame in and is bringing everything down around her. How the office staff makes the residents feel makes all of the difference in the world.

Now that was totally contradictory...The manager can only do what the owner/management allows.
