So we lived here about a year and a half, the rent is not bad for san antonio and for being in the northside, but if you look you can tell the appliances are older models. The patio offers no sort of privacy, and if your blinds are completely shut other renters can see into your apartment. pet owners usually clean up after themselves and are very friendly towards other pet members. The other residents generally keep to themselves, noise is not bad, on weekends you will be suprised on how quiet it is. Maintnance is pretty good, except if something breaks down after 6 be prepared to wait till the next day. Rent has not gone up and our neighbors are very friendly.
But with all the good there are bad things to go along. Being a younger resident (and quite possibly because of the way I dress) the office and maintnance personel would often give me strange looks as if I just stole something. But after seeing them for the first few months they realized looks arent everything.
I recently had my vehicle stolen a few months ago, it was parked right next to the main street and no one saw the individuals. I have heard of other residents having their cars broken into or stolen. So this is not the best place for you if you have an expensive car, or even a vehicle in general.
The office personel still make their faces when I walk in, but you learn to ignore them.
We are currently looking for another apartment to rent due to the crime and unproffessionalism of some of the office personel. Wow that is a long word and I do believe I mispelled that. Anyways the office lady they have watching over the pool is extremely rude and talks to all residents as if we are all children.

On the upside wal-mart is a walk away for those late night drive by's for forgotten items. Forget the movie theatre, it is always packed.

All in all they are decent apartments for a decent price.
